Michael Tharp retired in 2011 as an Oracle DBA, Developer, Data Analyst, Data Modeler with 28 years of IT experience. The last 19 years were devoted almost exclusively to Oracle.  He offered a balanced background, having been involved in all aspects of database life cycles including requirements planning, conceptualization and analysis, data modeling and design, application design and development, conversion of legacy systems, Internet development and database administration.

Michael worked equally well in a team environment or on solo-unsupervised projects and frequently served as team leader and performed project management duties. He communicated well and assisted several clients with user training and has taught database administration classes for Oracle Education. Michael is very conscientious about setting and adhering to standards and maintaining complete documentation. He adapts quickly to all situations and relates well to every level of the client organization.
